Beyond King Tut: An Immersive Experience
National Geographic’s Beyond King Tut brings a groundbreaking immersive exhibition to New York. Join in the discovery of a story 3,300 years in the making.
A cinematic exhibition that takes guests on a wondrous, expansive journey through the true story and real artifacts of one of the greatest archaeological discoveries of all time. Using the next generation of visual storytelling this exhibit goes beyond a traditional artifact display and uses the power of photography and larger than life multimedia to showcase all the exquisite detail and artistry of these ancient items. Through nine distinct galleries visitors are transported into the past through a unique narrative of this 3,000-year-old story.
Journey to modern-day Egypt and see wonders of the ancient world like the Temple at Karnak and the Great Sphinx. Experience ancient history come to life and gaze at the Egyptian sun as it rises above the Pyramids of Giza, filling the sky with vivid color. Travel back to the 18th dynasty when King Tut ruled and gods like Ra and Anubis were worshiped by all. Descend into King Tut's tomb, 100 years since its historic discovery, and join in his quest for immortality. Experience all of this and more at National Geographic - Beyond King Tut: The Immersive Experience, a story over 3,000 years in the making.
The visit will take approximately one hour with final entry one hour prior to show close. The experience is self-guided so stay as long as you like!
